2010

1. Getting out of a seriously soul-crushing funk I was trapped in for two solid weeks! Ugh, totally uncool, not to mention very emotionally and psychologically draining.
2. Serendipitously winding up at the mall yesterday and at to Old Navy to discover their 2 for $5.00 flip-flop was not just starting but every single pair/color/size/design was IN STOCK! I usually am way too late to the game and I’d be lucky to find a neutral color in size 9. I bought the pearly/metallic gold pair and pearly white pair. Flip-flops (also called thong sandals) are an essential accessory to Southern California living, in my honest opinion.

Metallic gold flip-flops from Old Navy
3. LOST. Enough said, ’cause anything else would be a spoiler.
4. FINISHING all of my pieces for a collection I am putting on Etsy this week! Keep an eye on the sidebar for a link to my Etsy shop. Speaking of the sidebar, you can now join the Glass of Win friend network with Google!
5. My sister and niece are back from Miami – yay! I missed them. Now we can get a move on with our True Blood and Inspector Lynley watching.

He’ll solve your case and look damn good doin’ it, too.
6. Receiving two pop-top lip balms from ModCloth just when I was running out of chapstick! Thanks, ModCloth! <3
7. Finally achieving vampire hours so I can get my brain to that calm, quiet mode when all is still and silent in my apartment and my neighborhood, and I am able to focus on writing.
QUESTION: What’s going on in your week?

I never thought I would be one of those women who went batshit for shoes, but guess what? I am. I have a small, but nice collection of shoes I adore, including but not limited to the following:

LE Joker sneakers by Limited Soles

Mono Jane in white by United Nude

Doc’s Mods Lace 13 Eye Boots by Dr. Martens

Black cat on black mary janes by T.U.K.

Black lace-up high-top ankle boots by Naturalizer
My two latest acquisitions:

All About Eve wedge bought from ModCloth

Foxtrot Flats in Big-Band bought at ModCloth
There are, of course, shoes that are simply so stunning and so sadly unattainable that they too must be mentioned here:
My friend Zuzu bought these to wear at her wedding and said they smell like My Little Pony’s. Me wanty:

Melissa Lady Dragon pumps by Vivienne Westwood Anglomania
My friend Lynleigh of Sweet Rococo recently purchased these sweet feet treats:

Elegant Heart Shoes by Angelic Pretty
They will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine (one day, hopefully):

Michelle by Jeffrey Campbell, found at ModCloth
Last, certainly not least, I present to you…the most awesome heels I believe I have ever seen; still so expensive that I can’t even hope to own a pair one day but I am compelled to torture myself by showcasing them here in all of their glory, the Miu Miu Tea Cup Heels:

QUESTION: Are you shoe-crazy? Which shoes are you currently nuts for?
