1. Getting out of a seriously soul-crushing funk I was trapped in for two solid weeks! Ugh, totally uncool, not to mention very emotionally and psychologically draining.
2. Serendipitously winding up at the mall yesterday and at to Old Navy to discover their 2 for $5.00 flip-flop was not just starting but every single pair/color/size/design was IN STOCK! I usually am way too late to the game and I’d be lucky to find a neutral color in size 9. I bought the pearly/metallic gold pair and pearly white pair. Flip-flops (also called thong sandals) are an essential accessory to Southern California living, in my honest opinion.

3. LOST. Enough said, ’cause anything else would be a spoiler.
4. FINISHING all of my pieces for a collection I am putting on Etsy this week! Keep an eye on the sidebar for a link to my Etsy shop. Speaking of the sidebar, you can now join the Glass of Win friend network with Google!
5. My sister and niece are back from Miami – yay! I missed them. Now we can get a move on with our True Blood and Inspector Lynley watching.

He’ll solve your case and look damn good doin’ it, too.
6. Receiving two pop-top lip balms from ModCloth just when I was running out of chapstick! Thanks, ModCloth! <3
7. Finally achieving vampire hours so I can get my brain to that calm, quiet mode when all is still and silent in my apartment and my neighborhood, and I am able to focus on writing.
QUESTION: What’s going on in your week?

When I was a little girl one of my most favorite shows on Nickelodeon was the English dubbed version of David the Gnome. Dr. David and his wife Lisa cared for the animals in the forest and other gnomes. It was a show that encouraged environmentalism, pacifism, and anti-materialism. It also had a catchy theme song you can hear and view via YouTube.

I want to take the time out to dedicate this post to my dearly departed Grandmother, Lucille Evelyn Root, whose July 17th birthday I shared. Every birthday we would have tea at our favorite parlor, Past Tyme Tea Parlour, which recently, sadly went out of business. It was always a warm, friendly place, and no matter who the proprietor was always had the tastiest high tea grandmother and I ever experienced. Keeping up the tradition of tea parties is something I have taken on in honor of my grandmother’s memory.
