Style Inquiry: Bright & Bold or Jewel Toned?

Some people go for muted jewel tones while others like to wear bright colors. Personally, I’d rather be bright and colorful but I rarely find apparel that fits me well as it is – much less in awesome brights. I do enjoy a good vamp look every now and then, though, and I usually try to find an in-between for day to day wear.

So, what are you?

  1. i am all about the jewel tones and varying shades of black/ grays.

i envy people that are able or/and have the confidence to wear bright colors

when i am drawn to a bright article of clothing it tends not to work out to well for me :( but i keep trying them anyway :)

every so often you’ll see a bright color on me!

  2. Black is jewel-toned, right? ^__^

I make up for lack of colors with colorful characters, though. What I mean is, I have a very immature closet, full of t-shirts with cartoon, movie, and comic book characters. (I also have amazing accessories, like various goggles, monster gloves, skeleton gloves, and a furry Viking helmet.)

As a general rule, I don’t like bright colors. There are exceptions, though, most certainly. And at some point in time in this life, I’m going to dye my hair bright cherry red.

  3. Oh man, I have to choose? Both. Though to be honest I wear more jewel-tones in the fall, because it just feels so right. But I love my burgundy tights as much as my hot pink and tie-dye ones. Though truthfully, I usually wear black. I’m confused.

  4. I’m definitely going to make a black vs. something else polyvore. I’m stylistically confused all of the time, especially with color!
