Cork City, Ireland Street Fashion

Ireland belongs to Irish women as far as cuteness and fashion is concerned, in my honest opinion. Every place we went, there were cute women in unique apparel. What makes them even more appealing is that they are seemingly unaware of just how freakin’ adorable they all are. The two top trends Steffie and I noticed amongst the Irish women were:
1) Tunic tops
2) Wellies (rain boots)

I wish I had had the brass to approach all of them, but alas, I would invariably chicken out and let my moment pass me by. However, I did manage to grab some gusto and snap four lovely Cork women sporting four wildly different but equally uniquely awesome outfits:

Name: Jo
Age: 21
Occupation: Retail & student

Steffie and I met Jo while we went retail nuts in my new favorite shop ever, Prime Time. Hey,, Jo, if you’re out there give us a shout!

Name: Helene
Age: 45
Occupation: Social Worker

What you don’t see is all of the amazing details of Helene’s wickedly neon hair and her piercings. I love that she is a social worker; good on you, Helene!

Name: Amy
Age: 28
Occupation: Artist

Amy is the first lady I stopped to take a picture of. Just look at her in those purple pants and bitchin’ top! I stupidly forgot to give her my email; hopefully our paths will cross one day again!

Name: Michelle

A little shy, Michelle was just chillin’ in Fitzgerald Park with her pals. I adore her candy kid jewelry and hair; it really stands out.

Cork isn’t the only place in Ireland filled with gorgeous women (although it is where my favorite regional accent is heard); all of Ireland has their pick with an emphasis on highly individualistic style; my kind of place!

  1. aren’t they? I am kicking myself for not just being bold and snapping more photos. Next year, though, I’m going for it! Those Irish ladies know how to work it.
