Last Saturday I attended the 7th annual Gala del Sol, a black-tie fundraiser for the non-profit organization I volunteer for, Camp del Corazon. Festivities include a silent auction, cocktail and appetizers and a formal three course meal with live auction and entertainment. It’s a total bash, and perks of attending is getting to see my fellow volunteer pals, meeting some cool Hollywood people and eating some of the best food in all of Los Angeles. OK, and I’m, like, helping send kids to the camp, too, whatever, right?

Other famous people that were there include Joel McHale (I do have a picture with him, but I look like a total goober), John Stamos, McKenzie Westmore, Tom Arnold and Steve Grimes. Camp honored Dr. Vaughn Starnes ’cause dude has, like, 100% positive feedback on his cardiothoracic vascular surgery rating.
